Angel VI Print

I’m not sure what the collective noun for angels is, but I printed enough different coloured versions to have a veritable host! One can be very painterly when inking up a drypoint plate, so these two angel images are noticeably different in both colour and mood. Angel VI, here, is printed with almost a monochrome feel in sooty greys and indigos. Angel III is printed in a mix of deep cerise and inky blacks, with additional hot pink ferny elements. Both possess a calm, serene feel.
